A few pictures from a Railway Crossing in Daurala, Meerut!
This is what would practically define every railway crossing in India… The bigger vehicles would “have” to stop, and the cyclists, don’t care! While one of them is already making his way through, the other is getting off his cycle to cross!
A tractor trolly loaded with sugarcane for the sugar-mills… a common sight during the mill season!
Yezdi! I am simply glad to have a picture of this bike in my collection! It has served a lot of folks in India well for decades, and there still are die-hard fans of the bike!
This piece of cloth is called a Loi or a Khes (very popular in UP and Haryana for light winters! Its interesting how this would also serve as a wind-cheater for some!)
