  • Name Servers

    For the technical inclined Name Servers are a common thing to be referred to!!!

    I had been facing the issues with NS for my url www.chaikidukaan.com since the time I started the migration from blogger to WP…. Somehow managed to figure out the issue today, and am able to complete a tracert of chaikidukaan.com to my domain space provider… Can think of the next steps now!

    At least that’s what the latest on blogthings says about me!!! I am pretty glad to read it too!

    You may not have long hair or a closet full of tie-dye, but you definitely dance to the beat of your own drum. (And you may even play the drum as well.) You are a true free spirit. You don’t let yourself be weighed down by rules and expectations. You are creative, philosophical, and caring. You want everyone to have a better life. For you, the worst thing in the world is being stuck in some rat race. You rather be broke than have to wear a suit every day.

    It might not be what I am, but it is for sure what I am getting to be!

    • Rules suffocate me
    • Expectations irritate me
    • Creativity excites me
    • Philosophy catches my attention
    • Care strengthens me (but I decide who I want it from; any non-asked for care is suffocating)
    • I want people to have better life… some while being around me, and some will have it better by just getting out of my face 😀
    • Rat Race… yea! I know how that feels
    • And suits! Well… I have a lovely black jacket, but I have not worn in over an year! Just do not feel like it!

  • 30on30 Updates

    The 30on30 Project got an overwhelming response from friends all around. Here are some of the highlights so far:

    1. Reached the initial goal of raising Rs. 30000
    2. Decided to not stop there
    3. Revised the goal to Rs. 50000 and are about 5K short of it as of today
    4. Even if we reach 50K we would try to continue raising some money till 30th April and do as much as possible

    Thank you everyone who has participated, appreciated, purchased, promoted, and wished for the success of the project.

    And like I said, its not over yet !!! There is still more than a week to go.. please do spread the word around if you have not yet done that.

    The long trinnnnggg and the rush to pick up the phone before anyone else picks it up, the cheer when it was her, and the disappointment when it was for dad…

    The not knowing when she will call again, and the not knowing who will pick if I called…

    The blank Calls and the smiles that followed… the short calls the empty it left…

    I miss the Sound of Romance !

    for the record, Kim is the manager of the hotel that I am staying in and was very kind and polite while handling a few issues that my collegue had at his hotel…

    I am open to a change in impression, and am glad to see some good conversations !!!
