Life been very very interesting the last one month…

right from going to Leh exactly a month ago to not believing my eyes when I saw the mountains and sky to coming back and not feeling like working for a week to coming back to the work mode slowly, here is what all has happened…

~ I had heating arguments with some of my closest friends for nothing… they wanted something from me and I did not give it… they did something that I was not sure if they should….
~ I got zapped with the photographs which some of the people sent for my mom dad to see… the Girls are sitting in a studio making those nice looking poses, and there is so much of post processing done on the pics that I would not even think of meeting anyone of them even if i wanted to…
~ I always say that live in the present and leave the rest to the rest, and I myself struggled with the thought in the last one week. I was not sure if what I was doing in the present was going to make the future bad or good or sweet or bitter… I know I will have to take a few very tough decisions sooner then later…
~ I have talked to some friends who have been struggling with a few things in their lives… and I believe that they should stand up for themselves and not really look around for support in such a situation… the more you become independent, the stronger you become…
~ I have been talking to some new people from Orkut and its very very nice… after a while there has been an inflow of new people in my world which is a fresh feeling…
~ I called up Sayan, and missed talking to her all the more afterwards :(… but I am still very very happy that she is rocking there…
~ I am trying to create more work at office for myself… I hate it when things become more of a routine…

There is lot of more happening in this brain of mine while I am writing all of this down… it’s been a while that I have thought this much!!!
Phew!!!

It’s really tiring at times!!!

Some of the car manufactures have done something that I am not really in sync with…

They have placed the side indicators on the front towards the face grills instead of the extreme right or left… now this thought would actually leave a few people wondering as to how it affects me or anyone else!!!

Here is why… visualize and see if you can make any sense out of it…

When you drive on the highways in the night or in rain or foggy conditions you usually switch the indicators on… and the purpose is two fold
1) The vehicles come from the front and following you can notice your vehicle.
2) The vehicles coming from the opposite direction can identify the extreme right and left of your vehicle…

Now with the indicators moving towards the centre, it is going to be hard for someone coming from the opposite side to calculate the width of your car and might lead to… well you know what!!!

Also on a lot highways, the indicators are used to highlight the space you are taking up on the road to the vehicles coming from the opposite side… it is easier to see something blinking when you have the blinding headlights on all around… I am not sure if the new indicators are going to help!!!

Oh… and I pity those people who first buy expensive cars… which have the rear defoggers… and then put up thick plastic tinted film on them…. total screw up of the rear glass and a total waste of the defogger… i use my defogger during rains, fog etc… And trust me its one of the best things that can happen to your car and your visibility…

Tell people you know to know their vehicles and use the features for their benefit, they have a better purpose then increase the ex-showroom price of a vehicle….

Oh… and a guy who was making a world record for honking the horn overtook me near the Maharani Bagh-stretch… I think he must have broken all the records by now…

~Thank you Aditya, for taking care of most of the office work while I was coughing and swearing away to glory in the office…
~Thank you Ravi, for asking me to record the Helpdesk IVR even though my throat was not too good… and actually keeping it so that all the people who call in hear my voice all throughout before someone picks up the phone….
~Thank you Mom and Dad for shouting at me for not taking care of my health while you were not feeling well either… I love you the most in this world…

~Thank you Radha, for being patient for the last four days, when I could not take you out for our scheduled drives together…
~And thank you everyone else, who wanted me to get well soon and starting speaking 🙂 were you missing my voice really?

OMKARA !!!

-Saif Ali Khan rocks…. Langda Tyagi is what I can watch his movie for again!!!
-Ajay is as usual intense and deep…. fantastic…
-Bipasha is a total misfit in the movie… for the first time in my life I missed Mallika Sherawat… she could have done the role so bloody well!!!
-Kareena as usual I do not care about… I totally ignore her!!! But do you also think that she looks like someone who was buried in ice for ages and then came out white?
-Vivek… phew… totally sidelined… and useless…
-The accent and the dialect… LOVED IT… something that I use more often then not, being used in the movie over and over again… made it so bloody interesting…

Saturday and Sunday were lazy!!! Met Deepak yesterday to plan for Leh.. pretty much know what all I need to pack now…. bought some stuff from sector-18 for the trip too…

On Sunday I made a collage… not the best that I can do… but decent enough for a 4 hour work…

I have been randomly clicking around in the last one week….
The rains, the winds, the clouds, the sun have all helped me get some decent shots… and the phone camera helped me capture them…

Saturday started late… and ended late too… and between these two times, I met some of the best people I have ever met online… the occasion : Sayantini’s farewell… oops… did I spell it wrong… yes I did… it was Sayantani’s Farewell that we all met for…

But before that I met Lalit and Deepti with Deepak and went to Chandni Chawk for two of the best things that Delhi allows you to do…
1) Travel in the Metro
2) Eat the Kulfi Faluda @ Giani’s near Fatehpuri Masjid

the purpose of this visit was to purchase a filter, a Polariser for Deepak’s Camera and a few ( 30 to be precise) film rolls and Batteries for myself… post this meet and quick visit to Old Delhi, I moved on to meet up the other gang @ IHC…

Kidda Kiddi were already there with BM (thats not how I write about them), so I guess I would re-write…

Rohit and Richa were already there with Sayan, and I was the fourth to join… Then came Deepak, followed by Akash, Ankur and finally Anku… This was the same Gang that met for a lunch in Taste of China a few months back!!! talks, photos, conversations, laughter, hugs, smiles, food, chaat, emotions, gifts, words, diaries, CDs, Paper, Pencil followed… and we probably met Sayan for the last time before she leaves for the US of A on the 9th of August… What is she going to do there is a different story and would be told later…

She was kind enough to write a few words about everyone she met on her page too… click here to read it… and in the process she also made me very happy by telling everyone that I was her personal laughter machine, and disappointed me by not writing a few things she has always said about me, which are usually about non-stop conversations and the pictures that I click… how I will go ahead and take a revenge is another story as well… will tell later 🙂

So this was it about the farewell meet… next was a looooong conversation with Anku, which was long pending… there were quiet a few things that we had to discuss and we did… all ending at a very good note…

So in all… I met a lot of people that day… all of them my online friends except one… never knew that Internet would be this interesting… thanks Orkut…

and Sunday saw me not speaking much with a bad throat which has continued till today too… have been trying all the desi nuskhas to keep myself fine… and it has worked well too… so all in all, its has been nice for the past few days !!!
