Asterix
I was at this mall wearing my favorite Asterix tshirt, and the girl at the counter almost shouted Asterix! ЁЯЩВ She had good memories of her childhood and of reading Asterix comics, and I am glad I played a role bringing some of that back to her!
Happy Evening!

Rush
Sports movies are a treat to watch… they connect with me at so many levels, and act as gentle reminders of things we usually tend to forget easy!
Rush is one such movie… About two F1 drivers James Hunt and Niki Lauda, both champions but so very different! Here is an IMBD link to the movie in case you’d like to know more.. I was watching the movie, and I was reaching wiki about the two drivers, their races, the 1976 season.. such is the effect of this movie!
Must watch I say!
Oh, and here is a line that makes so much sense… “A wise man can learn more from his enemies than a fool from his friends.”

and here is what Niki Lauda himself had to say about the movie..

That is how life is..
I got two emails today at work… Within a matter of a minute…
1. Announcing a 2 minute silence for an employee who passed away in a tragic road accident.
2. Announcing sweets at a colleague’s desk to celebrate a baby boy’s arrival
And life goes on…

Losing Data
is not a nice thing!
This time around, I made myself lose a lot of it after I removed all of Chai ki dukaan’s posts, and did a fresh install.. the reasons being simple. Its easier to build something fresh instead of trying to fix minor issues!
The last time I moved from blogger to wordpress (about 14 months ago I believe) I lost information on more than about 175000 visits on the page which were tracked by blogger, and started gathering information afresh, and now when I started rebuilding Chai ki Dukaan, I lost information about 60000 visits.
There is some part of the stats that are being tracked by Google Analytics, however I liked watching site stats via Jetpack!
Time to start afresh though! Its a good thing in a way!

Stay Hungry Stay Foolish
I have been reading his biography for the last few weeks, page by page, and understanding a bit of why I have always loved my Apple devices way more than the non-Apple ones…
Here is one of the rare occasions when Steve Jobs agreed to do a commencement address, and I am sure millions of them were and now are happy he did…
Watch the video, if you haven’t already, and take that first step of being foolish!

Update:
The first comment has a link to the youtube video where Steve Jobs launched the “Think Different” Ad. The audio is not very clear, so I thought I would find the ad, and post it here..
Enjoy ЁЯЩВ
